Sara Germano writes about the business of sport, based in New York. She won a 2020 SABEW Best in Business award for her reportage on racial diversity within sports companies and in their advertising.

Prior to joining the FT, she spent nearly a decade at The Wall Street Journal, where she covered retail, sports, and was a Berlin correspondent.
